In January 2020 - just before the world closed down - I had the pleasure of documenting a pantheon of Afro-Cuban spiritual practices. Thank you to Ned Sublette for bringing me along. This one takes place on Jan 6th, which in New Orleans we call Epiphany and growing up my family called Russian Christmas.
